Title
Integrated Concepts in Envi ronmental Forestry, Toxicology and Financial Accounting
Description
The accelerating global challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and the urgent demand for sustainable development have made it increasingly vital to adopt an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to environmental studies. This book, Integrated Concepts in Environmental Forestry, Toxicology, and Financial Accounting, was born out of that necessity. Our aim is to provide students, educators, researchers, and practitioners with a cohesive understanding of how environmental science, forestry, toxicology, and financial accountability interconnect to shape sustainable resource management. In bridging these domains, we offer readers the tools to comprehend and navigate the ecological realities of our time alongside the fiscal responsibilities that underpin environmental decision-making. Throughout the ten chapters, the book explores foundational and applied topics—from sustainable forest management and bioaccumulation, to environmental policy frameworks and international accounting standards like IAS 41. Each chapter builds on a shared commitment to promote environmental ethics, scientific accuracy, and financial transparency. We hope this book will serve not only as an academic resource but also as a guide for informed practice and policymaking in forestry, environmental management, and sustainability reporting. As co-authors, we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this evolving field, and we extend our appreciation to the readers who share our vision of a more accountable and environmentally conscious world.
